What does Blur actually charge me?
5% of a transaction — and only when someone pays you through Blur checkout. Clicking an ordinary link costs nothing, no matter how many clicks you get. If you point an offer at your own external shop, Blur takes nothing at all.
Do I need to pay anything to start?
No. The Free plan has no card, no trial period and no expiry. You can publish a real page today and upgrade only if Blur is earning you money.
Will my page load fast on mobile?
Yes. The public page is rendered on the server in a single pass with system fonts and no images you didn't add. It makes no third-party requests — no trackers, no analytics vendors, no font CDNs — so it opens quickly inside Instagram and TikTok in-app browsers on a slow connection. The only JavaScript is Next.js's own runtime; Blur ships no page-side scripts of its own, and clicks, views and checkout all work with JavaScript switched off entirely.
Can I change my username or unpublish?
Both, at any time. Unpublished pages return a clean “not available” state instead of a broken page. Changing your username changes your URL, so update your social bios afterwards.
What happens to my data?
Your account and page content belong to you. Blur stores analytics without raw IP addresses and never sells visitor data. You can export or delete your account from your settings.
Are payments live on this deployment?
Not yet. This instance runs in demo checkout mode: the full purchase flow works and produces transaction records, but no real money moves and nothing is presented as revenue. Set PAYMENTS_MODE=paystack and PAYSTACK_SECRET_KEY to accept real payments.
